History of JEMCA Tea producer:

The history of a major Czech tea producer began when the state-owned company Balírny Obchody Praha established a food and tea packaging plant in Jemnice. The name JEMČA originated from the abbreviation for jemnice tea. In 2006, Jemča was acquired by a large global player in the beverage market - the British company Tetley. Under the new name Tata Global Beverages Czech, Jemča won many awards on the Czech market. In 2020, Jemča returns to Czech hands - the company is bought by a domestic producer of food supplements, Dr. Müller Pharma.
