Hašlerky is made according to an original recipe containing our traditional herbs.
Ingredients: Sweeteners (isomalt, acesulfame K), aromas (sage, anethole, menthol, lemon), black carrot juice concentrate, herbal extracts (sage, lemon balm), anise essential oil
At the end of the war 1917 - 1918, the beginning entrepreneur František Lhotský obtained a recipe from E. Kirstein and started producing Caruso candies in a workshop at Královské Vinohrady in Prague, at the then street Komenského No. 35 (Belgian No 8 today). But the name of the famous Italian singer in the Czech Republic was not sufficient for ordinary customers. The producer, perhaps inspired by the legend of the original title, went on 20th December 1920 to Lucerna in Prague with a box of his products for the just-hopping popular Karel Hašler. The songwriter convinced himself of the quality and effect and gave written consent to the use of his name (the original is now deposited in the National Museum). However, a banknote journalist about banknote bundle for this consent is untrue. Although it is known that Hašler had a considerable need for higher income for the family and household, he understood as a good businessman the argument of his counterpart. The name for hundreds of thousands of products will be an excellent and consistent advertisement for it without any expense. Growth of production, in cooperation with the younger brother Oldrich, has required more space. These were obtained in Michle at the "Krhounka pole" (later Nerudova Street, now Magistrů) by completing a suitable building and later expanded. 28. 2. 1948 the owner of the action committee from the company was declared, the production of sweets was transferred around 1953 within the Prague Chocolate factory to the former Rupa in Modřany. The buildings then served as MNO warehouses, ZPA operations, Elektromontážní závody and Regula. Eventually, ORCO was rebuilt into flats. After the privatization, Hašlerky produces Nestlé at the Sfinx plant in Holešov.
