PEDRO Chewing Gum Traditional Czech Sweet
Pedro is a bubble gum with fruit flavor produced during socialism in what was then Czechoslovakia by the Velim company with the figure of a boy in a sombrero on the cover. It was also known for its price, which was exactly 1 CZK. Chewing gum was most popular in the 1970s and 1980s.
Allegedly, the Pedro chewing gum recipe was created according to American or Canadian chewing gum and was said to be so successful that, for example, Canadian hockey players took a chewing gum in large quantities.
