Traditional Czech MELTA Coffee Root Ground roasted mixture chicory

Melt is made by mixing bream from sugar beet tuber, rye and barley and chicory roots. Melta do not contain caffeine, so they can be drunk with virtually no amount or age restrictions. That's why children like to remember their first, grandmother's coffee.Melta was very popular during coffee crises, such as during the Napoleonic and World Wars.

Melta in bags - 7x20g -Put the bag in a cup and pour boiling water over it. Leave to infuse for approx. 5 min.
